In recent days I have come to many conclusions, and have really solidified my understanding of certain concepts that I had previously heard, and thought I had understood, but now I realize I had really just seen the surface of. Confused yet?
Here is the scoop. I have been a listener, reader, and believer of all sorts of positive, self actualizing literature for the last several years. Books like "Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill, anything by Dale Carnegie, Zig Ziglar, Catherine Ponder, and more recently Stephen Covey, Jack Canfield, David Allen, Robert G. Allen, Nicholas Boothman, and even Donald Trump.
Some of the concepts that I have recently solidified are the concepts of empowerment, and visualization. I had "understood" these things like everyone else does, I knew the dictionary definition of them, and yet I knew nothing about them. It is the difference of seeing a car, and being the mechanic that works on it.
I am not saying I am a guru on these things, more like a brown belt in the greater scheme of things. I have finally grasped that there is something bigger that just the definition.
